Friday, August 8, 200836th Lake Cleanup, Plus Search for 'Exotics,' Sunday COOPERSTOWN
The 36th annual Otesgo Lake Cleanup, sponsored by the SUNY Biological Field Station, starts at 11 a.m. Sunday, and this year will include "a concentrated search for invasive exotic species." Lakeside property owners are asked to leave refused from the lake only at the ends of their docks or equally accessible points. A barge will pick up trash throughout the afternoon, beginning at 11 a.m. Garbage, brush or household trash will not be accepted.
